So... you want to make a movie?

The rules are simple, if a little nerve-wracking:  participants will attend a kick-off meeting at the Sherman Hastings at 8:00pm on Friday, September 3.  They’ll receive the "key" components that will need to be included in their film:  a prop (A wrench? A book? A pencil?), a line of dialogue (perhaps “When did he begin showing these symptoms?” or “Her hair isn’t brown!”), and a character (A teacher?  A chef?  Maybe an animal trainer?).  Again, these items or words MUST work into the film.  All teams will receive the same prop, line of dialogue, and character.  Then the fun begins….

Teams have until 8:00pm on Sunday, September 5, to write a script, gather props and costumes, shoot their film, edit and score it.  That is just 48 hours.  Simple, right?  Well, maybe not simple, but certainly memorable and very exciting.

A film screening and awards ceremony will be on Sunday evening, September 12, at 7:30pm.

Ready to get involved?  Look over the guidelines and get your registration form in right away.
